I'm so proud of Alisa. She has been working hard all summer in what is called Superbook Olympics. She has to learn 2 memory verses each week as well as completing a 3 page worksheet on a Biblical topic and story. This year they studied I AMs--I am the gift, shepherd, king, doctor, sheep, etc. Alisa earned a gold medal, because she completed 12 weeks of doing the above things. She earned a pool party, and more importantly she is hiding God's word in her heart!!
Don't let your heart be troubled
My father-in-law uses this quote often. It is a good reminder that no matter how life is going, we have an eternal hope and perspective.
